This is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the St Louis metro area. All the food and drinks are great and well priced. We will be back soon.
We have been here a few times and always wonder why we ever go anywhere else! We were celebrating a birthday on a Wednesday night and even though we were a party of 12 and they were short staffed we were seated quickly! Our server was great and worked so fast at taking care of way more peoole on her own than I can imagine. She did a great job! Now the food....oh my gosh! It's amazing! I had choripollo which is one of my favorite dishes. It was the best I've ever had! And there was enough for lunch the next day. I think it tasted even better then if that is possible! The margaritas were great and the chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful! The fact that it's in the back of a grocery store just adds to the authenticity! We love this place!

It had been 2 ish years since I had been here and it was just as amazing as I remember it being. A group of friends and I came here after visiting Gateway Pet Guardians and we were hungry! We were seated quickly at a large table (probably around 12-15 of us). It's a good spot for groups. I literally got the same exact thing that I got the first time I came. I ordered a sticky margarita and the birria pizza. Margarita was delicious and didn't taste syrupy. Birria pizza is literally enough for 4 people. It's huge and so affordable. The meat is cooked perfectly and it's delicious with the tortillas, cheese, and consommé. When I come back, maybe I'll get something different- but probably not :)
I've been several times, and always have had great food and great service! Trust me, walk through the grocery store to the left you won't be disappointed! I need to try a different margarita, always get lime on the rocks, and want something better. Service is quick, and the pico salsa is the best! Great feel of a Mexican restaurant and always helpful the menu.
